Instead of using taxpayer money to get Italian car maker Fiat to buy or merge with Chrysler, the best solution is for the US government to get one of the major, profitable US oil companies to buy it. Instead of making a new car company "too big to fail," it would create vertical integration: car themed gas stations, etc.

    A theme based gas station: Good Idea: It would be NASCAR on steroids. Where fans support of the car is primary to who the driver is. ( even if the driver makes the car look god ) Win on sunday, sell on monday. This could good be a way for america to feel good about , well america!
