Abandoned babies safe at hospitals. Teens need to know they can anonymously leave their unharmed newborns at a hospital w/in 3 days w/o prosecution. Too bad Milwaukee girl did know/chose this.

I think you are all nuts. Weather teens get pregnant or not is not the issue. The issue is everybody young and old should know that there is a safe and unpunishable way of changing your mind of parenthood if a situation arises and leaves you no other choice. That is what this is about. Obviously if you have sex and do not want children please be safe. And please do not bash parents either, telling them to teach better morals. Some parents do nothing but teach morals and it always comes down to that individuals choice.

Maybe I am a teen. Maybe I'm not. Maybe I have no kids. Maybe I do have kids. Whatever I am, I'm entitled to my opinion, just like you. This isn't about me. This is about those who made a decision that caused them to get pregnant. I can only account for myself.

Sara, you sound like a real "peach" instead of flapping your mouth maybe you should think before you sent your comment. You ever hear or "think before you speak"? you must not have kids... please don't!! SAVE THE EARTH!!

Who picked the magical 3 day limit, so you can be prosecuted if you drop it off on day 4? Three days is not enough time in many cases for that type of permanent decision.

Unfortunately, teens should not be getting pregnant. That is the real solution to the problem. If they are going to do the act, they need to do it safely, or not at all. Parents are no longer raising their children and teaching them morals. They need to stop depending on schools to educate their children and teach them morals. Schools are there to teach them how to be safe. They are not emotionally attached to these kids and do not have to deal with the after math. Parents, learn to parent. Otherwise, don't have kids.
