Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers...both have done well for their respective teams...but who would you rather have quarterbacking the Packers...right now?  After the Jets beat the Patriots on Thursday night...I was wondering if the Packers did make the right decision...but after Sunday...Rodgers looked pretty good and so did the running game...which alwasy helps...I don't know...I think now matter who is at quarterback for the Green and Gold...the team would still be 5 and 5, but heading in the right direction...

You call Favre being selfish? The Jets GM told Favre to take as much time as he needed to make a decision, just like the Packers did for 2 years (except for last year because they're a bunch of classless egomaniacs). Oh, and I only recall Thomas Jones saying that the players didn't like Favre. If I remember correctly, Laveraneus Coles said he and the rest of the Jets receivers would LOVE to have Favre back next year. Sounds to me that Jones was just jealous he wasn't getting all the attention.

Hank, The Jets, like the Packers, will have to make the decision for him. This type of selfish action by Favre has been going on for the last 4 years, not just 9 weeks and serves no useful purpose other than to disrupt and leave the Jet organizaton hanging, just as he did the Packers. The Jets are sick of him just like the Packers and he will be let go no matter what he wants. Favre has wore out his welcome in the NFL. By the way Hank, Favre sure won over his team-mates and fans with his production on the field and his selfish actions this year. Take your head out of your_____ and wake up !!

To anonymous: don't you think you would take up to 9 weeks to make one of the most important decisions in your life? Anyone who does NOT take that kind of time for big decisions is a nut case.

New coach coming in for the jets, important draft looming, But Favre says it could take up to 9 weeks or so to decide whether he is going to retire or not! Some things just never change with that self-centered nut case.

Brett Favre is such a puke, not only the fans can't stand him but his fellow players can't wait for him to leave New York. As usual, it never was about TEAM for Brett, always just about Brett. Maybe now the idiots of Favre Nation can see this, if they finally open their eyes .

Right now, Brett Favre is an old, slow, poor decision making QB who AGAIN leads the NFL in interceptions and blew the playoffs for the Jets. Sorry Brett, don't give us the sore arm c__p, every QB in the NFL has a sore arm this time of year, including A. Rodgers.

I'll take a HOF quarterback anyday over Aaron "the choke late in the 4th quarter in close games" Rodgers.

Then again, that admission would take saying something that doesn't hail Brett Favre as God. That's obviously too much for you guys, since in that regard you are to Brett Favre what Hulk Hogan is… to himself. Out to make a god of the guy no matter how off it is. You wanna know who won this deal? Who wins this question this season? You wanna know you can argue that both the Jets AND the Packers would've made the playoffs with? (By the way: NEITHER ONE DID.) Who was the true upgrade in this entire saga? You want my answer to the question of Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers? Here's my answer: A young man out of Knoxville named James Chadwick Pennington who over eight years with the Jets went from beloved for his winning accuracy to lambasted by the truly ungrateful New York media for not having a glock with a swing for an arm, and ultimately was cast away in this whole saga which came about all because Brett Favre 4 (the 'v' goes before the 'r', btw) couldn't stick to his word and retire.

Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers? Why is this question even being asked? All it does is give the groupies who voted Favre into the Pro Bowl despite having the 18TH highest main passer rating in the NFL this year more reason to blindly bash Ted Thompson and Aaron Rodgers. Look at the stats, look at the ratings, look at the points scored and points given up. Unless you insinuate that it's Aaron Rodgers' job to play defense too, this year's Brett Favre would've gone 3-13. Even for that one guy who got slick and said Aaron does play defense after throwing interceptions, well guess what: Brett Favre does it even more. Matter of fact, he TRIES to play defense and falls flat on his face and shoulder. Aaron Rodgers threw interceptions and lost games a couple times? Wanna say Brett Fave would've won those games if he was still in Green Bay? Okay, then let's do a tradeoff. Y'all also need to say that if Dan Marino's Achilles injury never was, BF4's career would've continued to pale in comparison.

Just read where Favre doesn't know if he will return next year. So now he plays his silly games with the Jets . Who would want him ? In the last 4 games he has one touchdown pass, six interceptions and has blown the playoffs for the Jets.

Farve would have taken the packers to the playoffs if he still layed with them

Can't blame that game on Rodgers, fools ! He got them into position to win the game in regulation with a big 3rd down pass and an overall great game, but the kick was blocked. Stinks to be a Packer fan !!

Way to blow the playoffs, Brett !! Not ONE touchdown against Seattle. Get ready for the yearly crying that he is going to retire.

Yes, I watched the Jets win on a fluke fumble at the end of the game and Favre stunk up the football field as usual. The Pack stunk also. Don't blame Rodgers. He gave them a lead with 5 minutes to go and then ,as usual, the defense let the Jags drive all the way to win. I am sorry you can't pin that on Rodgers, Favre would have been no different. Remember the Giant game??
