I'm writing this as I prepare to depart for Miller Park for the Brewers Home Opener 2008...and I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to do so. Not only because it makes it feel like spring...with summer on the way...but for the expectations I have for this year regarding the Crew. I really believe that this is the year the Brewers will make it back to the playoffs...the line-up is solid, the starting pitching should be solid as well...despite Eric Gagne's first outing, the bullpen looks good too!
The more I think about it, anything less than the playoffs would be disappointing.

One more note, off the sujbect, Brett Favre will not play for the Packers, or another team in 2008.

Ned Yost is definitely on the hot seat. He manages the game poorly and with all that young talent how can they be last in the NL in hitting and near the bottom in ERA. If not for the effort of Ben Sheets this team would be in deep trouble. Make a change now. PS. For those who still believe Eric Gagne is the answer, remember this; in his previous 8 seasons he only blew 11 saves total. He has 5 this season alone. There had to be a reason LA, Texas and Boston gave up on this guy.

Favre really must be bored with retirement with the silly games he plays with not only the Packer fans but even worse, the team and his constant childish hints of coming out of retirement. Even worse, Packer fans seem to be gullable enough to listen to him and believe it. Favre needs to grow up and anyone with an ounce of sense knows he isn't coming back. He is having alot of fun with the people of Wisconsin making them look like fools. What respect I had for Brett Favre, I am losing quickly.
