Hope you had a great New Year! I was asleep by 7pm on New Years Eve. How pathetic is that? Mostly because I had to start work at 2am on New Year's Eve morning. Of course, that means the next day I woke up at 3am. Funny, I talked with someone at the Rose Bowl party I went to who got home at 3am from New Year's party when I was waking up.
I never really thought Wisconsin could lose the big game. But you have to tip your cap to TCU. They came to play! And obviously they didn't go undefeated for being a bad team. The only second guessing I'll do for Wisconsin is how soft the cornerbacks played on the TCU wide recievers. Oh, and if you want to say poor Michigan State got the shaft, you might want to check their final score against Alabama. It was not a good day for the Big 10.
Also, a tip of the cap goes to Lovey Smith and the Bears. In spite of not having a thing at stake in the final game of the season against the Packers, they brought it. I have respect for that.
Now, it's on to the playoffs where the Packers will face the Eagles in Phillie. Even if the Packers weren't playing them, the team I will be cheering against THE MOST in these playoffs is the Eagles. I don't care how much ESPN shoves his alleged turnaround down my throat, Micheal Vick should not be allowed anywhere near the NFL. Yes, most people deserve second chances. But some behavior (like running a barbaric dog fighting ring) should cost them some priviledges. Like the priviledge of playing in the NFL.
With the New Year comes the recommitment to the healthy lifestyle. I read some where the average American gains 7lbs over the holidays. Let's just say I'm well above average!
OK, that's it for now. Have any input? You know what to do.
