I just have some random thoughts this week.

I washed my SUV at a self serve by my folk's house in Fond du Lac Saturday and it took 30 seconds between the time I put the money in and when the machine finally kicked in. Doesn't seem like a lot until you figure the $2.50 I put in was only good for 4 minutes.  Sort of a rip-off, isn't it?

My kitchen project is almost done. I had the old cupboards and floor taken out and new ones put in. It looks great, except for the 2 walls I still have to paint.  I was bound and determined to keep the rest of the house clean during the project, but learned that would not be possible after day one. Dust gets everywhere. But it's worth it.

My diet, ah I mean healthy lifestyle took a beating during the remodel as well. My dog went to my folks house for the week so I didn't have the 2 daily 1/2 hour walks taking some cardio away. I hope to re-hang them in the basement, so the old cupboards are sitting in my basement on top of my weights, so I didn't get that workout in. Plus, I had no kitchen so I ate a lot of fast food. (my microwave is above the stove and wired into the wall, so I couldn't plug it in in another room) I was afraid to step on the scale after the week, but I don't think I gained a lot back based of how my clothes fit. I was helping a little with the project, so hopefully I got some exercise that way. Although, by the second day I realized I was just getting in the way of the guy I hired, so just stopped "helping."

Did you see the yo-yo guy (who shall remain nameless) we had live on Sunrise 7 Tuesday morning? If not, good. If so, sorry. That's all we'll say about that.

Brewers are off to a less than dazzling start. Wasn't this new pitching coach supposed to be some sort of guru who would improve the staff? Haven't seen it yet.
