Hi all.

I'm writing this blog to hopefully save my weekend co-workers a few angry calls.

We can't show both the Packers and Jets games this weekend.

If you've ever noticed, CBS and FOX go back and forth every weekend for which network gets to show two games.

Sunday, when the Packers take on the Texans, it's FOX's turn. So we as a CBS station can only show one game. That's a locked tight contract the NFL has with the networks.

On top of that, we have no choice in which game we can show. Since we're a Wisconsin station we have to show the Packers when CBS has them.

Trust me, we would love to show both games, but can't.

This is quite disappointing. I've had much more fun watching Favre this year

Let's see how he plays as the weather gets colder, and the nasty NY press gets hotter. J

Hi Jeff! It doesn't bother me at all that you don't show both games as I will be out in the cold watching the Pack beat the tar out of the Texans on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field. Besides, I'm more of a Packer fan than a Favre fan at this point. Rodgers has done just fine and it's time for the Packer fans to move forward. Go Pack!
