Guiding Light is in the Guinness Book of World Records as being the longest-running soap opera in production and the longest running drama in television history.

CBS is now considering canceling the show. Are they making a mistake or is it time for Guiding Light to go dark?

Although I think watched the final episode with tears in my eyes and wanted to have the soap continue, I was pleasantly surprised at the ending...everyone loves a happy ending and except for the death of Al, this one was pretty cool...wonder what a new show based on the ending of this one would be like...If it has to end, thanks for the years of great ride...
