The rumor around Hollywood is that Drew Barrymore wants to direct the third installment of "Twilight". The only directorial experience she has to date is "Whip It", a movie scheduled to be released this year.

"Twilight" doesn't really seem like a Drew Barrymore-type movie to me. So what do you think? Is she going after this because she loves the series, or is she just trying to milk the giant cash cow?

They're actually making a 3rd installment?? I hope to GAWD the second movie is better than the first. One of the WORST movies I have ever seen--poorly written script, HORRIBLE acting. If I'd paid to see it, I would have demanded a refund. Actually, I hope the rumor IS true. Drew is a talented woman--and she can't do any worse than the director of #1.

Puh-leaz! If this rumor is true, which I highly doubt, Drew would not be in it for the money. She's Hollywood royalty and would never be seen milking a cow- cash or dairy for that matter. Although I believe that if given the chance, Drew could really excel in showing her dark side to the American audience, it is my belief that this rumour is false in its entirety. If not and I am wrong, I think that Drew has been hanging around Hollywood and workin with directors long enough to know how to make a good movie. More power to her!
