What'cha Got Collector Loses Battle with Cancer

I've just received word that Ross Honsa, who was featured in an August "What'cha Got?" passed away last Friday afternoon after a long battle with cancer.  His wife, Susie, was kind enough to send word not long after his passing.

I only got to meet Ross once, but his story left quite the impression.  His passion was pigs. In fact, he had better than 14,000 pigs - from stuffed to ceramic and wood and they came from all over the country. The best part - it all began as a joke. Ross was a deputy with the Price County Sheriff's Department when his wife bought the first one... and it just took off from there (proof that pigs do fly).

Ross' personality and sense of humor only added to his collection, which he proudly showed off to anyone and everyone who would ask. I thank him and his wife again for sharing it with us.  Our thoughts are with Ross' family and friends.

If you missed it or just want a second look, here's his collection.
