Packers In-House Squabble

I'm not sure if it's going to blow up or not, but the whole Packer Super Bowl photo squabble has arose once again. All because of Twitter. Tell me, what would your boss do if you aired out your difference of opinion on Twitter FIRST before confronting the person(s). I know what mine would do. So on Saturday, Aaron Rodgers made a comment about when he was rehabbing on IR back in 2006 he stuck around Green Bay. Mentioning that some guys chose to rehab out of town this year. His point being, if you want to be in a team photo, why not stick around and help out the younger guys who are taking your spot rather than flying off somewhere else. I see his point. Now that the team is on the biggest sporting stage in the world, they want in on the action. I also see the players' perspective. They're part of the team, and before they got hurt were contributors. They should have been part of the original photo shoot. But for Nick Barnett to tweet about Rodgers' comments after they were posted online is childish. And JerMichael Finely tweeted, too. Barnett's: “Well looks like people have something to say about where some people choose to do there rehab .. try rehabbing with 16 others then 53 more.” “Doubt you get the full attention needed.. It’s easy to speak about others when you are not in their position.. Talk about 'union' ha.” Finley tweeted right after that: "TRUE FACTS RIGHT THERE." Barnett later deleted his original posts. Then posted these: "Before I delete this page just wanted to say I was never trying to be a distration ... I am packer have been one for 8 going on 9 years." “love this team this city.. All I wanted to be is included as a teammate nothing more.. Looks like it has back fired on me.. I guess.” “That was asking too much... Sorry if I offended anyone.. That was not my intention.. Never that.” C'mon. Seriously?!?! Your "teammates" are about to play the biggest game of their lives and this is how you act? Barnett is probably gone. Desmond Bishop has made him expendable. JerMichael needs to grow up...though we thought he already had. I have a feeling this will live on for a few more days. The big media day is Tuesday. Until next time...

Really? These two guys are both great players!! They both started the year, Barnett played 4 games, finley played 5.5!! They should have been in the pictures! We need them, but they should not be on twitter complaining about it!! There they are wrong!!

Grown ups do not air out their work differences on Twitter. My boss would not be impressed. It will be interesting to see what if anything the Packer organization says about it.
