I'm writing this while in the air on my flight from Minneapolis to Salt Lake. Then its Salt Lake to L.A., and from there I hit the ground running with as Northcentral Wisconsin's only media representation of the Badgers and the 2011 Rose Bowl.
Funny story...I'm not really afraid of flying, its the falling that scares me. That being said, my first flight from CWA to Minneapolis was smooth. So much so, I was sound asleep and didnt know we were landing. Then all of a sudden...BOOM! We touched down, and needless to say, I was wide awake after that.
The offensive players had their say on Tuesday. QB Scott Tolzien talked about facing the nation's #1 defense in points and yards allowed, the TCU Horned Frogs. The big point he made is they've had several weeks to watch film and find ways to break them down. TCU's defensive coordinator said it best, TCU is a Ferrari, UW is a dump truck. If the Ferrari gets up to high speed they're hard to catch. But if the dump truck get going full speed ahead, they're hard to stop.
On Wednesday, it's the defense's turn. Stay tuned to NC7 for reports from LA, Pasadena and all things that are the Rose Bowl.
