An original Curly Lambeau contract
Thanks to Jim Trentlage for sending this to me. A friend of Jim's buys old homes and either remodels or takes them down and sells the land. He came across this in one of the homes he was doing in Milwaukee.
It's an original player contract orchestrated and signed by Curly Lambeau himself. I looked up in the Packer archives for an Ed McGroaraty. He must have been a player signed then cut during training camp.
Still, it's a good read. And notice how the cover letter starts out with the mis-spelling of "Inclosed." We'll pay you more money when you're playing the kind of ball deserving more money? That would NEVER work today.
