Time to Blow Up the Brewers?
Alright Brewer fans, what to do with this team.
All-Star break is next week. the trade deadline is 23 days away. Corey hart has never looked as attractive in the last 3 years as he does right now. Voted an all-star, 4th in the league in homers, and relatively cheap.
Prince Fielder, his contract expires after this year, one year of arbitration left. There's no way the Crew are going to pay him $17-million plus per season.
Ken Macha? It's hard to say what the guys in the lockerroom are saying and thinking, but has he lost this team? Bench coach Willie Randolph is there waiting in the wings. He may not make it to the end of the month.
