Iola native Austen Lane is a large man. 6'6", 276 lbs. He's put on almost 20 pounds since the Senior Bowl, which was about a month ago. I've never felt so small. He's an intimidating figure, but very very very nice. Someone that you can feel good pulling for. He'll be drafted anywhere between the 2nd and 4th round in April's NFL Draft. He stopped by the studio on Wednesday for a sit-down interview. Here are some pics that his publkicist, Shawn Smith took of his trip here. Good luck Austen, can't wait to be pulling for another Northcentral Wisconsin athlete on Sunday's.
I'm about 5'11. And I barely come up to his neck. Always has a smile on his face when talking to him.
