The Badgers' win over Duke on Wednesday night is a heck of a confidence booster for the rest of the season.
It's a type of win that will carry a lot of weight at NCAA selection time...just like their loss to Gonzaga. It's what you'd call a "good loss" because look at where the Zags are ranked right now and how they're playing. I'd be shocked if the Badgers didn't make the NCAA's again and be a factor throughout the Big Ten season.
The atomosphere felt like an NCAA Tournament game. Pretty cool seeing the fans rush the court afterwards. Normally I prefer schools like Wisconsin to act like they've been there/done that before because it's not like they're some slouch of a team. But it IS Duke, one of 5 elite teams that is worth a court rush...the others being Kansas, North Carolina, Kentucky and UCLA.
How much better are Keaton Nankivil and Jon Leuer from last season? My gosh! Nankivil's 6-8, 270 and dropping three's without thinking twice. Jordan Taylor is only going to get better and is proving to be the best perimeter defender.
The team wouldn't be complete without Bo Ryan. A premier coach who could go just about anywhere in the country. Thank goodness he's on our side.
