Packers Have 1-2 Punch for Years to Come

WIth reports out there that the Packers have signed receiver Greg Jennings to a new, long-term contract, it means the Packers now have their WR-QB combo locked up for years to come.

Last November the Pack signed QB Aaron Rodgers to a 6-year deal worth more than $66-million.  No details as of 7:40pm Tuesday night on Jennings' contract numbers, but reports are it'll make him the 2nd highest paid WR.  Which would be between $9.7-10-million annually.  That's a heck of a 1-2 punch for the Pack in the years to come...now if they could get a top-notch running back to throw in the mix.

Some may say they've overpaid on Jennings, but if he's truly just scratching the surface, it should be a good deal for both.  Plus, I don't see him going "Antonio Freeman" on us after he gets his big payday and start slacking off.
