If you haven't heard, Brett Favre is now a free agent and can sign with any team he wants if he so chooses. Here's the story if you need to catch up.
Favre says he's still retired. "Nothing has changed," Favre said in a statement. "At this time, I am retired and have no intention of returning to football."
"At this time?" That's the same wishy-washy stuff we heard last spring/summer. We've been down this road before haven't we? The Vikings have only Sage Rosenfels and Tarvaris Jackson. The Bears now have Jay Cutler, and the Lions...well, they're the Lions. No other NFC team fits for Favre.
You know Favre still wants to "stick it to Ted" Thompson. We'll have to wait and see what the summer holds, won't we?
