With the news today that Brett Favre will retire "for good," his agents words, what is your lasting memory/impression of Favre?
Is it his interception in overtime against the Giants coming up one win shy of the Super Bowl?
His tearful goodbye during his inaugural retirement last March of '08?
His presidential-like arrival and departure from training camp in 2008?
Leaving the field at Giants Stadium in a Jets uniform, bruised and battered, for the final time of his career?
Or will it be the him lighting up the Patriots and sprinting onto the field after the Packers wrapped up Super Bowl XXXI?
How long will it take for him to come back to Lambeau? My guess is not until AFTER Ted Thompson is gone, regardless. I'd be surprised if he returns while the current regime is still there.
Let me know your thoughts.
Until next time...
