In a poll conducted by Sports Illustrated, Lambeau was voted the #1 stadium experience in the NFL for a 2nd straight year. Lambeau scored first among the fans in terms of affordability and food, second for tailgating?, fifth for team quality, one for atmosphere and four for accessibility.
A friend of my wife scored us some tix to the Packer-Colts game this weekend. This will be only my 3rd game as a "fan." My first one was back in '01 (vs Eagles, Ryan Longwell GW-field goal, 6-3 in a snoozefest) and last year when they lost to the Bears.
Are you going? And how do you tailgate to get ready for the game?
Last year all we did was get to Lambeau early, park about 2 blocks away, which cost us only $10 opposed to $25-30, and paid a visit to Kroll's West for an hour. If you see me there, holler at me and get my attention. I'll be happy to eat one of your burgers or brats. :)
Until next time...
