The Return of the Commodore 64

When I first came across this, I thought it was a joke,,,, someone pulling at my heart strings of yesteryears when I was just a snot-nosed brat growing up in Montana. Then as I continued to look into it, it was no joke... the Commodore 64 is returning... and so is it's "cousin" Amiga.

Now... for those of you wondering, "what the heck thing is this Commodore 64?"... it's probably the best thing since sliced bread... if you were a young kid in the 80's.  :)  For the younger generation, think of this as a PS2 vs. PS3 or XBox vs. XBox360... the older computer here is the Commodore 64 and the "newer" one being ANY Windows machine... win95, 98, ME, etc...

With the C-64 (as us nerds called it), I remember having to play games either off of "cassette tape", or data cartridges.  When 1990 came around, the disk drives were finally cheap enough so my parents could finally afford one. I remember getting up in the middle of the night, sneaking down into the "computer" room... letting our dog Nikki out of her room, so she could keep me company as I played various games.  Summer Games, MULE, Ultima, BoulderDash, SpyHunter, Load Runner, Bruce Lee, etc.... ahhh, the good ol' days. We even had a phone modem at one time as well!

Anyone else ever feel/experience the nostalgia of older technology when you either see or hear of it again?
