It's that time of the year again, where once again... it's time to be "Freezin' for a Reason"!  It's the thirteenth annual Polar Plunge and this event keeps getting bigger, and better! This year there will be at least 500 plungers to take part in the festivities, with (hopefully) oodles of amounts of money raised to help out these Special Olympians!

To find out more..... you can visit:

As the tradition has been for the past 4 years, there is a handful of us that do a "Pre-Plunge"... just to make sure things are set to go. In all honesty, we either have a hole in the ice or we don't, so I think this is just an excuse to get people like me, frozen like a popsicle 2 times in 2 days.  Oh well, as mentioned, it's for a great cause!

Here's the video from our News Team during Saturday's event. 2011 Polar Plunge

My good buddy Dave Kallaway at 95.5, put together a little trailer on our pre-plunge this year.  Have a look at "Plunge Nut.. the Movie"
