Heinz Field (Steelers) Forecast for Sunday January 23, 2011 with "guest" forecaster
Two hugetastic games are coming up this week, Jets/Steelers and Packers/Bears... and all I can say is, "ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL???!!"
I'm super excited for this game... and am nervous beyond belief. Packers are on the road, and let's face it, Da Bears have 2 different playing levels that they have played at this year (esp. offense).... good and bad. Cutler can throw 4 TD's, or 4 INT's, you just don't know what you're going to get with that kid.
The later game for Sunday... has my beloved Steelers taking on the High Flying Jets. I've never really been a Jets fan and would like to think that this would be a more than likely Steelers win... but I'm concerned... concerned with how well the Jets dismantled the Patriots... all while rushing 3 or 4 linemen. Tom Brady will be a Hall of Famer someday, and the Jets made him look like a rookie out there.
Few things in the Steelers favor (In my opinion):
1) Big Ben is used to running around with poor OL blocking,,,, so what the Jets did to Brady, is something Tom Brady wasn't used to or expecting.
2) Heath Miller returns for this game... he missed the previous game in which the Jets won in December.
3) Along those lines, my boy Troy Polamalu is back... and ready to go.
I'm hopeful those 3 differences will make a difference in this game/outcome and that the Steelers can find a way to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl.
I still hope for a Steelers/Packers Super Bowl... but let's not get ahead of ourselves, the Steelers and Packers MUST WIN Sunday.
