After very strong storms rolled across parts of central and north central Wisconsin for the late afternoon hours on Tuesday August 23, 2011.... Wisconsin now stands at 35 tornadoes this year for the state, which is ahead of the 23 average the Badger State normally sees in a year.

We have two confirmations of tornadoes from Tuesday, a weak EF0 tornado in Shawano County, and then a more powerful EF2 tornado in Clark County.  Unfortunately, there was one fatality reported from these storms, due to a power outage to a gentleman's oxygen machine.
