Well, this will be my last blog of 2009 and I originally thought I would write some really good stuff... however, I am suffering from writer's block a bit this time around.
The one thing I would like to say about this last year is... as much as I sometimes think I have it "rough or bad" or that things aren't going my way... I always think of how good I actually have it.
I have my health (after 2 months of being sick!)... my family and friends... my jobs... and while there are always ups and downs in anyone's life... mine are more ups than downs.
I think of others that do not have it as "good" as I do... my good friend Kevin lost his father earlier this year around Memorial Day.. his dad is about my father's age... that would get anyone's mind to wander... I have dozens of friends in the television business that have lost their jobs this year... have a few friends that are now divorced...
So while I think I may have it tough sometimes... looking back on what has happened to my friends and family and to viewers right here in central Wisconsin... I really don't have it so bad.
What are you most thankful for this year and what are you looking forward to in 2010? Have a Happy and SAFE New Year!
