WSAW - Blogs - Chad Franzen

Have you seen WSAW.COM's Entertainment section lately?

Here in good ol' Wisconsin, we're a pretty far distance away from the glitz and glamour of Los Angeles ...  however, with our Entertainment Reporter Forrest Kelly on the scene, we are able to bring you many different red carpet interviews.

The most recent one is for the upcoming movie the Weather Girl, starring Tricia O'Kelley (opening July 10, 2009), which is a movie about a Seattle Weather Girl that, shall we say... "freaks out" while on tv and then is subsequently let go from her job.  Trust me, that's just not movieland folks, that stuff would really happen at a tv station!  I will let Forrest intro the rest of the introduction to the movie...

However, Tricia O'Kelley sent along a little message to me ... in which, I'm very humbled by Tricia's taped message to me.  If you're ever out in Wisconsin, I'll get you the steak dinner that I now owe Forrest Kelly for doing that!!!

Speaking of entertainment, don't forget that back here in Wisconsin, we have High School Musical 2 going on this weekend at the Sentry Theater in Stevens Point and then in a few weeks in Wausau at the Grand Theater.  Show times are this Saturday at 2pm and 7pm and Sunday at 2pm at Sentry Theater.

Wausau shows will be in July... Friday July 10 at 7pm, Saturday July 11 at 2pm and 7pm, and Sunday July 12 at 2pm.  You can get tickets by calling (715)-842-4416.  I am looking forward to these shows and another chance at being a "star" once again.... ha ha ha!  See you there!
