Allright.. show of hands... who enjoyed the 60 degree temperatures from earlier this week? Don't worry about raising your hand and having your co-workers see it... our assignment manager Dennis Dalsky is looking at me right now wondering why my hand is in the air. LOL
In any case, is it me, or does the 30's today feel more like about 10 degrees this afternoon? I was ready for the dry and sunny spring-like weather and that will disappear for the foreseeable future.
Spring officially starts at 6:44am tomorrow (Friday March 20).... and then we're looking at some spring-like showers going into the first part of next week.
Now... on to March Madness! NewsChannel 7 has really "beefed up" our NCAA tournament stuff this year with several new features. First, we have a whole page dedicated to the tournament and there are specific things there for the Badgers and Marquette. Check it out at: www.wsaw.com/ncaa .
In addition, we have added free text scoring text alerts (your provider may still charge you for receiving the text, but we send it for free) for your cell phones. You can get signed up at : www.localwireless.com:80/wireless/signup.cfm . In addition, if you're using your phone and have access to the web stuff, check out our mobile section www.mobile.wsaw.com . We have a specific link for March Madness on that page as well.
I had the pleasure of chatting on Wisconsin Public Radio this morning with host Joy Cardin... and had a wonderful time. Thank you for having me back on the program Joy and your staff. You can listen to my one hour chat with her by going to: www.wpr.org/cardin/index.cfm
Check it out... and Go BADGERS and MARQUETTE!
