Okay, I'm not one to have New Years Resolutions, but since I kind of have a few, why not ask you at home to share what yours may be?
1) I have one that I always have... to get to the gym every possible day this year. With some health problems this fall, it just wasn't possible... now that that seems to be resolved, it's time to sweat. Along with hitting the gym, is of course, losing some more weight.
2) Another... which may come with more working out more... is to find my energy and passion that I have seemed to be lacking lately. I'm not sure what happened the last part of 2008 (altho I do have some ideas), but it seems like I have lost my "swagger" when it comes to things. I let some failures in my personal life spill over into and affect my tv life, which is never a good thing. If I have viewers emailing me to ask me if things are okay in the past several months,,, then I know that is showing on air... which is NOT good.
3) Keep in touch with friends and family more often and do what I can to see them. My brother and his family lives in Minneapolis and yet I only see them a few times a year... I need to change that. In addition, I have some great friends in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin that I need to just take some time to go and see. I can't even count the # of friends that I have in Green Bay that I haven't seen in ages! (Mitch, Todd, Alison, Scott, Angela, Jill, John, Ted, Wendy, and on and on and on.....) In addition, I need to spend more time on the phone chatting with my colleagues in the business ...
4) To no longer make New Years resolutions, well, after this year anyway .... LOL
What are some of yours? I invite you to share your resolutions and why it may be you came up with them.
