I will admit, that I'm probably a few weeks late on this blog entry, but wanted to get it out there nonetheless.
The Climate Prediction Center predicts that the upcoming winter will be met with above normal temperatures and near normal precipitation. Coincidentally, the Farmer's Almanac predicts about the same thing... temps 2 degrees warmer than normal, but differs only slightly with the precipitation... at or slightly below normal for the winter.
First time in a while that both of these entities have been relatively the same on a winter forecast... so I find that interesting. I have a feeling that we'll probably see anything but slightly above normal temps and normal precipitation,,, you just never know about Mother Nature.
Anyone wanna go on the record with your own winter outlook?
