Over the past few weeks, I did what most male Wisconsinites did... I allowed some scruffiness to grow as the approach of the gun deer season drew closer. Well, now that the gun deer season is over (except Muzzleloader), I probably should do what a lot of male Wisconsinites did .. and finally shave off the facial hair.

I have had a few people comment on it... some people say keep it, and then again some people say get rid of it. I actually had a pretty specific voicemail regarding it yesterday... with the viewer basically saying ditch it.

So, I decided to leave it up to the bloggers on whether or not I should actually quit being lazy and shave... or if I should just leave it to see how long I can go with it. I will say that if I do keep it until January, I'll probably shock my parents with it when I see them in the first part of 2009.

How about you... any of you commonly go back and forth with different looks with hair? It's not something that I normally do...

Chad, PLEASE get rid of the dead animal that has landed on your face. I enjoy a clean shaven Chad!! Nobody can see your awesome face the way it is now!! Besides, we live in Wisconsin, not some back woods hill billy town. Thank You so much : - )

LOL It is kind of like a dead animal I guess... that's funny you put it that way.
We'll see how much longer it will last, I go home for my annual visit to see my parents... usually Mom can be very persuasive. :)

I dunno if I can stand it if it were to get that long... wasn't there a wrestler years ago that did that? I remember watching an old wrestling show with my grandpa in SoDakota years ago with a wrestler like that.

With the weather the way it is now... and as cold as it is... you need to keep it!!! LOL!

I'm thinking it may be able to keep me a bit warmer, that's for sure.

Chad keep it!!!!!! I'm 66 years old and on you it looks good. Tell the am people to shape up. They're just jealous because they can't grow one as nice. Keep up the good work!!!!

Thanks... I'm trying my best to keep it... so far, so good! I think my parents will not be as receptive when I see them in January, so it may go away then. Stay warm!

Umm, I think the goatee isn't the issue. It's kinda like, should I was my 176 lime green station wagon? I think the term is is you can't polish a turd....lol. However you could put that sweet interview from 7:00 on Black Thursday on your Blog?!?!?

I don't have an interview from 7 a.m. on Black Thursday.. but I will be posting one from Black Friday in due time. LOL Patience Jackalacka!

Normally I tell people to shave but you actually "look good" with it. Keep it until you can't stand it! ;)

I'm gonna hang with it for now... I see myself in the mirror while throwing on the makeup... I agree, I like it. It totally reminds me of my favorite 1b in the Majors.. Todd Helton. He grew the goat after an injury a few years back as inspiration to get better and move on... I am doing the same. I tailed off on the softball team as the 3b at the end (broken fingers) and I'm just now getting back from my knee injury.. I use this as my excuse to be a differnt and better person!

Keep it, Chad. You look great. Also, loved the picture of you and Theresa Macken on the Wausau Herald website. It was really cute. Hope you enjoyed Black Friday.

I had a lot of fun out there Friday morning... with all the media peeps, our competition in tv and newspaper were both out there. Theresa (TMack as we call her) is a lot of fun and as you can tell, and easily smiles when someone tries to have a microphone lightsaber fight with her. LOL

We have a few viewers during DayBreak that said the same thing... to keep it. So far, that's how I'm leaning.
