Space Shuttle Discovery is now at its new home at the Smithsonian. I remembered watching these as a kid and even as recently as last summer, and I got butterflies every time I saw them take off and land. While I understand there was a reason for the program to end, I do not necessarily like it, since this country does not have a current vehicle to get back to the International Space Station at this time. I look forward to the days of where we will resume space exploration again and with manned vehicles/orbiters.
