I'd like to send a special thank you to Mrs. Weber's Kindergarten class at St. Francis Xavier School in Merrill. They invited me to be a special part of their class on March 2nd.
While I was there I read to them a book about when spring arrives. They also questioned me about my job and some of my favorite things in life. I heard some great stories as well - like what their favorite books are, what animals they like, and much more. But one of my favorite things about the day was when they asked me what my favorite animal was - and of course I told them PIGS (specifically Durocs or Red Pigs)! Some of them made faces and laughed, but then we talked about why I like them (they are smart, love to cuddle, and of course adorable!). Then Mrs. Weber told me they are reading one of my all-time favorite books "Charlotte's Web." (which if you don't know is about a pig who is saved from being slaughtered after a spider writes special messages in her web) Keep up the GREAT work boys and girls!!!
They are a very intelligent class - their parents should be very proud of them! : )
