Amy has been a reporter with NewsChannel 7 since September 2007.

She is a May 2007 graduate of Purdue University, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Communications with a Minor in Animal Sciences. In addition to helping with her family's farming operation, Amy has worked as a choreographer, fitness instructor, freelance writer and 4-H Volunteer.

Amy had already gained a lot of newsroom experience prior to NewsChannel 7. She interned at WNDU-TV in South Bend and reported for WKVI-Radio in Knox. She also produced, shot video, edited and anchored a program called "Fast Track" for Purdue University News.
