Brett Favre, Seriously!

Did you see Brett Favre on Letterman last night?

I stayed up late to watch it... I like Tina Fey, but wished I wouldn't have had to sit through her interview to see our hero!

I know Brett flat out said he's retiring... but I can see how people think he's leaving the door open.

He hasn't signed the retirement papers.  He said "something's bound to happen" when training camp starts.  You can't say stuff like that without expecting people to talk!

Let's step into Cheeseland Dreamland here for a second... What if he did change his mind?

Of course, I love him and never wanted him to retire in the first place... but we already got all the retirement stuff out of the way.  If he came back, then retired again... would we just have to repeat the TV programs and special edition magazines?

But... I managed to go on vacation the exact day he retired, so I missed all the hoopla.  I could do it again!  ;)

How do you feel about it?

Poor Brett. I watched the Letterman show and I believe that his comments have been taken out of context. Dave was asking if Brett missed the mini-camps and he said no, but when the regular camps start "something is bound to happen" meaning at that point he knows he will miss the action and camaraderie with his friends and teammates. Everybody should stop over analyzing everything he says and let him get on with his life. Go Aaron Rogers!!!!

Brett Favre is our Hero, an N.F.L. Icon,a Green Bay Packer legend. I am so proud & blessed that I was able to watch him play, as a serious Packer fan throughout his entire legacy. He holds almost every passing record in N.F,L. history. He's made plays that no one else could. However,He's getting long in the tooth & silver in the locks. He retired in style & grace & on top. He should not tarnish his lore by being wishy-washy on his decision now. He's been labled by some of the most famous sports writers, as one of the few proffesional athletes to go out on his own terms & the right way. As Barry Sanders, Cal Ripken Jr. & Steve Young did. The Packers will live on... We as Packer fans may not like watching our team without ol' No.4, but we will...Fourever a Packer fan, Bags

I agree completely! Thanks for your comment. ~Ali
