ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- The Plainview Milk Products Cooperative is voluntarily recalling some products it sells to companies because they might be contaminated with salmonella.
The Food and Drug Administration says the voluntary recall affects all instant nonfat dried milk, whey protein, fruit stabilizers and gums that the coop has manufactured over the past two years.
The FDA says the co-op, based in the southeastern Minnesota town of Plainview, sells these products to companies that may have used them in their own products. It says none of Plainview's products were sold directly to the public.
The FDA says no human illnesses have been linked to potentially contaminated products from the facility.
