Marathon County Farmers Win Big Award

Peter and Suzie Arnold are the 2009 Conservation Farmers of the Year. They were given the award by the Wisconsin Land and Water Conservation Association.
The Arnolds operate a 166-cow dairy farm in Frankfort. That's in Western Marathon County.
The couple is being honored for their environmentally-friendly farming techniques. They include the management of soil run-off, woodlands and wetlands.
The Arnolds will be recognized at a ceremony in La Crosse.
This isn't the family's first big award. Peter Arnold was named Marathon County's Young Farmer of the Year.
