WIAA FOOTBALL: Edgar Wins the D6 Championship, 46-7

Edgar has defeated Eau Claire Regis 46-7 to claim the Division 6 state championship, the 5th title in school history. It's their first since 2001. Their other championship years were 1979, 1992 and 1999.
The defense came within :05 of their 12th shutout of the season, which would have equaled the state record, before the Ramblers were able to get into the endzone.
Nevertheless, the Wildcats are the Division 6 state champs. Now the debate can begin...is the 2009 Wildcats the best Edgar team ever?
