MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The investigation into the Crandon mass murder may be winding down.
Forest County District Attorney Leon Stenz says he got a binder of nearly 500 pages and a flash drive from the state Department of Justice around the beginning of December.
He doesn't know how much more information may be coming, but says the material didn't include any autopsy reports or photographs.
The Justice Department has been probing the circumstances around the incident Oct. 7, when sheriff's deputy Tyler Peterson shot six people to death at a party.
Police say he killed himself in the woods hours later.
