CRANDON, Wis. (AP) -- Crandon Mayor Gary Bradley says his town at last is showing signs of recovery from last weekend's shooting rampage.
Children are back in school and many businesses have reopened their doors.
The mayor says people are working together to get the community moving again, and Crandon is easing out of the media spotlight that focused in on the city after the shooting.
Bradley says people may not be ready yet to forgive the 20-year-old off-duty deputy sheriff who went on the rampage and later shot himself to death.
But he says they eventually will, rather than let the bad feelings linger.
According to the mayor it's a magic moment in Crandon right now because "we're pulling together, and I can feel it."
