MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Last week's storms caused at least $3 million in damage.

That's the early estimate from Wisconsin Emergency Managment officials.

The storms spawned at least five tornadoes and dumped hail across the north-central portion of the state.

The state says a tornado that hit Langlade and Oconto counties alone caused $2 million in damage.

The destruction of the Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure Resort near White Lake in Langlade County accounts for about half of that figure.

Emergency Management spokeswoman Lori Getter says the damage estimate is likely to soar.

She says today's numbers don't include hail damage to cars or homes.
